Bringing history to life.

Visiting a historical museum provides a tangible connection to the past. Through artifacts, exhibits, and interactive displays, museums bring history to life, allowing us to understand the lives, struggles, and triumphs of those who came before us. This deepens our understanding of our society, cultures, and world. Museums serve as valuable educational resources, fostering critical thinking, inspiring curiosity, and preserving our collective memory for future generations.

The Landing Ship Tank, or "Large Slow Target" as the LST was called by her crew, revolutionized amphibious warfare, enabling large-scale landings of troops and equipment on hostile shores. Its design and capabilities influenced the development of subsequent amphibious landing ships.
